影片分三段，第一段是固定长镜头，第二段是典型的SH美学，第三段是雷诺阿《马赛曲》的一个片段。这三段风格各不相同，这是想制造一种表意上的蒙太奇，但这些片段（有时）却互相之间气质差异大，导致影像比较撕裂。另外，第一部分之所以一开始无声是为了让观众对画内的金鱼/金鱼缸进行充分的发散性思考，从而在后半段配乐出来后让这些思绪与配乐碰撞，产生出与「只有配乐时的感受」不同的一种新感受。这也可以算作一种广义蒙太奇。整体上说，我认为这里的蒙太奇比三段式的蒙太奇更成功，但影像冲击力较轻。 具体长评。
